The Sky Clan was founded by SkyFox and SkyOxide. They started the Sky Clan sometime around October of 2006. The clan expanded in February of 2007 when SkyVash joined the clan and helped to bring talent and popularity to the clan. By this time we had a group of about 20 or so very talented players. There was such excellent overall skill and teamwork in the clan that we played many Clan Wars with other big name clans at that time, such as the old Heroes and Legends, NL, and the Night Clan to name a few. The Sky Clan was truly thriving and was without a doubt one of the premier clans in SWAT 4 TSS.

When the Sky Clan was formed, we were strictly a Smash & Grab and Co-Op clan. We did not play Barricaded Suspects because most thought it was all a "one man show" and we were a "Team" of friends. For us, teamwork was the key and we were very good at it. We would play VIP and Rapid Deployment from time to time, but stayed mostly in S&G.

Sometime around April of 2007 the two founders, SkyFox and SkyOxide, had a falling out. A pretty bitter argument proceeded and in the end SkyFox decided that she needed to step down and leave the Sky Clan. Some others left with SkyFox as they were more filled in on the issues that caused the fight. SkyOxide continued to run the Sky Clan for about a month after SkyFox left with the others. However, the clan started falling apart from there.

It was around this time that many players began starting to play Barricaded Suspects due to lack of teamwork in many S&G servers. As Barricaded became more and more popular, that became the main game type for most.

After Sky fell apart, most of the remaining Sky members joined a clan called Blood & Honor, which was founded by a (then) long time friend of the Sky Clan. After a fairly short period of time, everyone decided this was not a replacement for Sky, but something quite different. Most all of the BH clan left around the time that SkyCougar and SkySubzero left Blood & Honor, including SkyDavid, Sky012 and SkyCore to name a few.


The Sky Clan Reborn.

After being away from SWAT for a while, SkyVash and SkyDJ started talking about bringing the Sky Clan back to life. On May 8th, 2008 the Sky Clan was reborn with a new server, a new website, and new leadership. At this point, SkyVash began discussions with SkyCougar to re-join the newly formed Sky Clan, which had 4 members at that time. SkyCougar came back to Sky as the 3rd Leader and there were a lot of old Blood & Honor members who left to join the Sky Clan as well. Within no time we were growing in numbers and skill. New players, returning "Sky" clan members from old, and old time friends joined the ranks and began to form the Sky Clan into what it is today.

It only took about a month for the Sky server to become very popular and well known again after the clan was reformed. Many clans and players knew the Sky Clan from before so things picked up quickly. Since Sky has come back we have been mostly a Barricaded Suspects clan, however we are pushing for teamwork so we strongly suggest Co-Op and Smash & Grab as well to balance out personal skills and "teamwork" skills.

We have made some Leadership changes along the way to further support the Sky Clan. We added a 4th Leader, we added a new role of Sub-Leader and how have 3 in that position. Our Leadership Team is a group of 7 Leaders and Sub-Leaders as well as having many experienced Admins to back us up.

The Sky Clan supports two games currently. SWAT 4 The Stetchkov Syndicate AND Left 4 Dead (L4D). We currently run two (2) SWAT servers and three (3) L4D servers as well as our website, forums, and a TeamSpeak server. Our Barricaded Suspects server is called "Sky's House - Xtreme Gaming", and our other server floats between S&G and Co-Op modes and is called "Sky's House - Smash & Grab" or "Sky's House - Co-Op".
